The Soldiers Field Memorial is dedicated to all veterans for their service in the Armed Forces of United States. It consists of the Wall of Remembrance, a reflective area that includes fifty matched trees, which represents the fifty states. The memorial bears the names of 1,800 people from Southeast Minnesota who died in combat since the Civil War along with etchings of scenes from each war. It is located in Soldiers Field Park, 1 block from the Best Western Soldiers Field. |
